Probably the best solo act show I’ve ever been to
Granted, I haven’t been to hundreds but the opener and Mars Volta were excellent. Both Cedric and even Omar were very entertaining aside from showing just how much skill they have as musicians as well.
My only negatives about the show had much more to do with MGM. The coat check lines were pretty disastrous as well as merch, there is no downstairs bathroom?? And I was seated in the 4th floor. The sound up there was a little janky at some moments and was overall a bit distorted (my videos from up there v videos from people I’ve seen in the pit sound very different)
Do I recommend Mars Volta? YES YES YES.
Do I recommend MGM? Only if you choose a seat in the lower levels.
